Clearer rental timing and cashflow
These two updates make rental timing easier to understand and Cashflow View clearer and more accurate, particularly for households with a mix of PAYG, self-employed income, investment properties and personal super contributions.
v0.7.4 - Clearer current-year rental timing
We clarified our rental-property update to explain that weekly rent is annualised using 52 weeks and pro-rated when your projection starts part-way through the current financial year.
v0.7.5 - Income separated by person and source
The cashflow diagram now identifies where personal income comes from instead of describing every source as salary or PAYG income.
For example, a household can now see Person 1 business income and Person 2 PAYG income as separate flows into their combined gross personal income. This makes it much easier to understand how each person's income contributes to the household projection.
v0.7.5 - Every year shows only that year's cashflow
We corrected an issue where Cashflow View could combine income entries from multiple future years when displaying a single selected year. The diagram now uses only the entries for the year you selected.
This was a presentation issue within Cashflow View. Headline projection figures, including the displayed annual surplus, continued to use the year-specific calculation.
v0.7.5 - Clearer property and super flows
Investment property outgoings are now separated into Property costs, Property interest and Property principal. Interest-only loan costs no longer appear as debt principal repayments.
Cashflow View now also includes deductible personal super contributions in the Super contributions flow. When none of a person's income sources attract SG, the Income & Super panel now says that no SG is calculated instead of showing the legislated rate without that context.
