More accurate property cashflow
This patch makes Cashflow View more accurate and easier to follow, especially for households with investment properties and multiple loan repayments.
Rental income no longer inflated by property outgoings
Rental income now displays as the rent received. Previously, the diagram routed property expenses, interest and principal from the Rental income node, which made its displayed flow total look like rent plus those outgoings even though the calculated rental income itself was correct.
Rental income, property expenses and property interest are grouped together so you can understand the property's contribution without mixing those outgoings into ordinary living expenses.
Debt repayments separated from living expenses
Mortgage principal and other liability repayments now remain distinct from living expenses. Property interest is shown as an expense, while principal repayments are shown separately as debt repayments.
More accurate flow values and rental growth
Cashflow View now preserves the calculated values throughout the diagram instead of allowing display rounding to alter how flows balance.
We also corrected rental growth so an entered rate of zero remains zero rather than falling back to the general inflation assumption.
